Sunday Supplement: Mission Possible
MayaSat-1 will take seeds into Earth orbit next year – and then bring them home.
Hello, Gardeners of the Galaxy, and welcome to the GotG Sunday Supplement, premium content for my top Rocket Boosters!

The long-term goal of Hungarian space company Genesis Sustainable Future Limited (Genesis SFL) is to terraform or create soil on Mars. Their first steps towards that include developing MayaSat-1, a biological incubator CubeSat Genesis SFL has developed for space-based biological research.
MayaSat-1 is scheduled to launch in the first half of 2025, on a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket, as part of The Exploration Company’s Mission Possible. The primary aim of the mission to validate the Nyx spacecraft’s capability to safely transport and return experimental payloads from Low Earth Orbit.
